Correspondence Before Style

ACCM Deep Ethics Project · Topologetic mirror summary

Bounded purpose and provenance

This WordPress mirror is a bounded visitor-orientation summary of Correspondence Before Style. It preserves the source page’s main nodes, answer-changing relationships, qualifiers, direction and correction route while leaving the fuller object recoverable through the source link below.

Source status: BETA. Source: public GitHub project page.

Object and trajectory

A correspondence-preserving writing filter extracted from useful parts of the Nederlandse Stijlgids, with drift-producing style rules deliberately excluded.

A writing rule can improve readability while degrading correspondence. It can make a representation shorter, calmer, more familiar or more institutionally acceptable while removing the qualifier, relation, voice, mechanism or topology that made the source object what it was.

Style may improve the transmission of an object. Style does not receive authority to replace the object.

The source guide remains the source object. This page records what was transferred, what was changed, and what was deliberately not imported.

preserving a qualifier; identifying a speaker; keeping uncertainty unresolved; carrying a necessary dependency; exposing a mechanism; distinguishing source from reconstruction; recording correction history; retaining humor that performs a relational or diagnostic function.

the object; the actor or process; the affected layer; the proposed mechanism; the evidence; the scope; the uncertainty state; the possible consequence; what would change the assessment.

text actor ↓ instruction / incentive ↓ assumption / selection ↓ action or omission ↓ result / effect ↓ notice ↓ later correction, persistence or recurrence

the ACCM Deep Ethics Project for a shortened public title; a source object for its summary; a candidate mechanism for a detected obstruction; probable for proven; unresolved for false; architecture critique for malicious-intent attribution; acknowledgment for correction; fluency with a taxonomy for behavioral integration.

source text; quotation; translation; paraphrase; editorial compression; A.I. contribution; John's interpretation; later synthesis; correction; current project position; unresolved residue.

text source object ↓ earlier representation ↓ detected mismatch ↓ correction ↓ revised representation ↓ later behavioral test

The archive does not prove every claim inside the framework. It makes the transformation and correction available for inspection.

Neutrality is not treated as evidence of correspondence. Tone is evaluated by what it does to the object, the relation and the process.

Which properties are demonstrated, to what degree, under what conditions, with what correction persistence and what unresolved remainder?

Load-bearing nodes

  • The transfer test
  • Reusable methods
  • Make every addition earn its place
  • Replace vagueness with inspectable relations
  • Keep agency and responsibility visible
  • Let evidence carry evaluative weight
  • Preserve terminology when the distinction matters
  • Preserve provenance and voice boundaries
  • Inspect generated text systematically
  • Treat translation as a transformation layer

Answer-changing relationships

The following relations carry more meaning than isolated keywords. Their order, direction, claim status or asymmetry should remain visible:

  • preserving a qualifier; identifying a speaker; keeping uncertainty unresolved; carrying a necessary dependency; exposing a mechanism; distinguishing source from reconstruction; recording correction history; retaining humor that performs a relational or diagnostic function.
  • text actor ↓ instruction / incentive ↓ assumption / selection ↓ action or omission ↓ result / effect ↓ notice ↓ later correction, persistence or recurrence
  • the ACCM Deep Ethics Project for a shortened public title; a source object for its summary; a candidate mechanism for a detected obstruction; probable for proven; unresolved for false; architecture critique for malicious-intent attribution; acknowledgment for correction; fluency with a taxonomy for behavioral integration.
  • source text; quotation; translation; paraphrase; editorial compression; A.I. contribution; John's interpretation; later synthesis; correction; current project position; unresolved residue.
  • This inspection is omnidirectional. It applies to human writing, A.I. writing, project pages, translations, corrections and the inspection process itself.
  • qualifier survival; speaker and attribution; modality; scope; technical distinctions; cultural register; humor; relational meaning; evidentiary status; new implications introduced by the target language.

Metacognitive topological reading

The metacognitive question is not only what this page says, but what happens to its object when The transfer test is interpreted through Reusable methods. A shorter representation can keep the nouns and still lose who supplied a relation, whether it was explicit or inferred, what came before what, and which qualifier prevents a possibility from hardening into a conclusion.

The topology also remains recursive: the observer, summarizer, classifier and correction process belong inside the field of inspection. Make every addition earn its place cannot receive automatic authority merely because it sounds careful or ethical. Its effects, asymmetries and behavior in the next comparable case remain part of the evidence.

This mirror therefore marks its own limits. It is a derivative orientation layer, not the source object and not a final interpretation. Another reader may recover a consequential edge omitted here; that difference should reopen the map rather than be hidden by the fluency of this summary.

Correction and reopening route

  • Return to the full page when a decision depends on exact wording, timing, attribution, evidence status, humor, or a delayed qualification.
  • Distinguish what the source states explicitly from what this summary infers or organizes.
  • Compare competing risks, including the risks of action, inaction, delay, compression and overexpansion.
  • Let later evidence, source clarification and recurrence after correction change the representation.

This is the orientation layer. The fuller object, examples, evidence, qualifications and development history continue on the ACCM Deep Ethics Project:
